Artist Ursula Christel Cranmer explores a range of media including painting, drawing and printmaking, as well as collaborations, photography, community projects, and site-responsive art. Her work expresses universal themes in an abstract poetic style; reflecting an interest in spirituality, intelligent design, perception, and the human condition.

Studio Christel is located on the idyllic Hibiscus Coast just north of Auckland, where Cranmer has lived since 1996. The semi-rural location, scenic coastal landscapes and temperate climate, have influenced the colour, style and concepts of her artworks.
